Bombay Brasserie

Went on Saturday evening for a birthday meal for my son, there were 14 of us. Everything was fantastic. Service was perfect and all of the food was absolutely lovely. Was very busy too so there was a nice atmosphere. Dropped a cake and balloon off earlier in the day too and this as all sled with perfectly. Thank you!

Five Stars – A Truly Wonderful Experience at Bombay Brasserie, Mapperley I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Bombay Brasserie on Plains Road in Mapperley today, and I have to say – it was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were met with incredibly warm, friendly, and hospitable service. The team are genuinely lovely people who clearly take pride in what they do. The decor is absolutely gorgeous – pristine and professional yet relaxed and welcoming. I loved the stunning detail of using vibrant saris as curtains – such a novel and beautiful touch that I've never seen anywhere else. Combined with the rich red and orange artwork on the walls, the atmosphere felt both elegant and comfortable. The food was simply outstanding. We started with the fish pakoras and paneer shashlik – both were absolutely packed with flavour, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. For mains, the black pepper chicken curry was another knockout dish, bursting with layers of spices without being overpowering, and the naans were soft, fluffy, and delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and expertly prepared. To top it all off, my mum thoroughly enjoyed her passionfruit, papaya, and mango ice cream for dessert – a light, fruity, and refreshing end to a fantastic meal. Overall, it was a thoroughly delightful experience – relaxed, welcoming, and delicious. Bombay Brasserie is a true gem in Mapperley and I can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended!

We've eaten in the restaurant a few times and always had a good experience - good food, atmosphere and service. A group of us had a takeaway last night and all 6 of us found every dish fantastic. We were given complimentary poppadoms and pickles and were offered a discount which was great customer service. All the staff I encountered were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Bombay and will definitely return.

First time visiting with recently moved into the area. The food was absolutely delicious not overpowered with spice and very filling. Service was excellent with the gentlemen that served us were very pleasant and made us feel welcomed as if we have been there before. Definitely recommended and will happily return again.

First visit to this place & we were very happy with the service as we got seated straight away even without pre-booking. Drink orders & menus were received promptly by a lovely server. Top curry house.. I’ve been coming here for years and they always make lovely curries. Tonight was just as good, great starters and Nans as well.
